Salesforce Architect (Northvale, NJ)

Job Summary

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Developer/Architect to join our team in the highly visible role to deliver enterprise-level Salesforce.com development initiatives for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service throughout the complete SDLC in a highly flexible and collaborative work environment with great full-time Benefits and Compensation Packages.

The SA will be required to lead all technical aspects involved in delivering Salesforce projects – primarily custom code development (Visualforce and Apex) as well as data and external application integration. Will be responsible for the requirements gathering, detailed design, implementation, testing and support of technical solutions throughout all deployment phases.

Primary Duties

• Gather system requirements, conduct analysis, coordinate the design of solutions and establish metrics for success
• Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
• Provide detail design and documentation of each component of the solution such as data migration, integration and custom development
• Manage and provide direction for the onshore and offshore teams in support of development activities
• Determine the scope and corresponding effort estimates for all development
• Work closely with business partners to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce
• Create and maintain development and integration initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or closely related field
• Salesforce.com Certification a plus
• 5+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management
• Strong SaaS solutions development and implementation focused on Salesforce.com and experience in writingSOQL, SOSL
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce programming including APEX, Force.com, and VisualForce
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and multiple other platforms and technologies
• Experience and good conversant skills in key business functional areas such as ERP, CRM and SCM
• Broader programming technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, Jquery, SOAP, AJAX, Javascript (including modern Javascript libraries), Adobe Flex, Java, JSP, PHP, .NET, SQL
• Knowledge of different database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server
• Strong communication skills
• Strong business analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and function as a positive and creative member of a team
